My name is Star Cooper; I am the owner of Ciao Bella Skin & Wellness, which in Italian means Hello Beautiful! We are a small boutique-style spa Located at Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. I have had a successful 20+ year career as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, and while I loved Anesthesia and its many challenges, I am excited about this new chapter in my life. While saving lives and performing the most advanced nursing skill such as placing intravenous catheters, arterial lines, Nerve blocks and epidural catheters allowed might seem like the ultimate job for many. I am excited to take that same level of expertise and precision into injecting faces for aesthetic procedures. I have been certified in Aesthetics from Beautiphi Academy in Detroit, Michigan. It is my love of science and beauty in combination with my knowledge of anatomy, vigilance, and attention to safety that will go into my client’s customized aesthetic plan to fit best fit their personal needs.
In the past, I had the privilege to provide office-based anesthesia for Dr. Mike Nayak a well-known facial plastic surgeon in St Louis Missouri, and it was then I became extremely interested and fascinated with the art of skin and beauty services and restoration.
My Mission is to help clients get the greatest level of service that will make them feel better about themselves because feeling confident can have such a deep impact on every aspect of someone’s life. When you feel confident, you can stand a little taller, take greater chances, and have a stronger belief in yourself.
Over time and as we age our faces start to lose bone structure and depletion of the fat pads accelerates. Our skin becomes less elastic and pores can appear larger, causing us to look older and less youthful. Add in environmental stressors such as extreme cold climates, stress, sun tanning/damage, smoking, excessive alcohol, and other chemicals, and you can see this is hardly a fair fight. At Ciao Bella Skin & Wellness we believe that beauty is on the inside as well as the outside. Our goal is to help restore, enhance and preserve your own natural beauty giving you a natural, softer version of yourself and allowing you to build confidence in your appearance. We want every aspect of your experience to feel relaxed, comfortable and pressure-free.
