All Your Vein Questions, Answered
Laser Vein Removal FAQsYes, but timing matters. Many clients choose to pair laser vein removal with other skin treatments like facials, microneedling, or chemical peels to target multiple concerns. We’ll need to space out your appointments to avoid overstimulating your skin or interfering with the healing process.
During your consultation, we’ll build a treatment plan that fits your goals, your skin’s needs, and your schedule, so you can safely get the best results from everything you’re doing.
Our laser technology is safe for most skin tones, including deeper complexions, thanks to adjustable settings that allow us to tailor each session. That said, different skin types may respond slightly differently, which is why we take time during your consult to evaluate your tone, sensitivity, and vascular concerns. If needed, we’ll perform a spot test to make sure your skin responds well before moving forward.
For facial veins or smaller broken capillaries, compression isn’t necessary at all. If we’re treating larger veins on your legs or thighs, we may recommend wearing light compression garments for a day or two. This helps reduce swelling, support blood flow, and promote faster healing in the area. We’ll walk you through exactly what to wear and for how long, depending on your specific treatment area and how your skin responds.
It’s best to avoid direct sun exposure for at least one to two weeks after your treatment, especially on treated areas like the face or legs. Your skin may be more sensitive during this time, and UV exposure can increase the risk of irritation, discoloration, or delayed healing.
If you’re spending time outside, cover the area with clothing or use a high-quality, mineral-based SPF 30 or higher. We’ll give you easy, personalized aftercare tips so you can enjoy your time outdoors without compromising your results.
Some smaller veins may fade immediately, while others can take up to two weeks or more to fully break down and be absorbed by your body. You might notice a slight darkening at first, which is a normal part of the healing process. Most clients see clearer skin after the first session, with full results appearing after a series of treatments. We’ll guide you through what to expect and recommend the right number of sessions based on your skin and the type of veins being treated.
